I love the stillness of a heron wading in shallow waters. Watching to catch dinner or daydreaming,he is all poise. I paint them in Maine and in Key Largo, Florida. All is beautiful and paint worthy except for the awful squawk upon takeoff and landing. Perfect painting subject on all levels.
