For 37 years I have watched this Somesville Bridge, on Mt. Desert Island, ME, be photographed by tourists and artists. I've admired its changing face in every season-the colors of the water, the plants, the flowers, the falling leaves, and the reflections -- an inspiring challenge to capturing its light in paint.
